Falling in love<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

We have to fall in love, it is mandatory :<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. You won\u2019t get place to sit or meal if you are alone and visiting eateries or elsewhere.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. How will you share all those photos to your Facebook et all.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Peer pressure and friend circle around us takes over this.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How do we find love these days?<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Mobile apps like tinder.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. College\/Schools [most cases it does not last long]<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Social media [Twitter\/Facebook\/Quora]<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Common meetups, group activities [if you are lucky]<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Parties! Through common friends, through set ups arranged by friends<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Why do you want to fall in love?<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Social symbol [me too]<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Sex, personal support <\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Marriage [if both happen to cross the threshold]<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Our dire need to have a plus one always!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Breaking up<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

        We had great time together but it\u2019s not working out.<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. You deserve better. [Realized after months\/year tolerating you]<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. You were cheating on me.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Priorities, moving to US for masters.<\/span><\/li>\n
        4. Parents will not let it approve further. [Time for me to get hatched].<\/span><\/li>\n
        5. After 5 years courtship met parents but guess what out Kundli is not matching \u00a0so we should end it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Moving On\/ Letting go<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

          The most difficult part of this journey is moving on.<\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Cry, cry and cry.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Go visit family [parents]<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. Quit internet for sometime.<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. Leave city\/town where it all started.<\/span><\/li>\n
          5. Quit job incase it was office affairs.<\/span><\/li>\n
          6. Stop meeting people especially socializing women folks.<\/span><\/li>\n
          7. Isolate yourself, travel [mostly solo]<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Now that I am done sharing my piece, I have to honestly admit that some of it \u00a0resonates with my story as well. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

            I will mostly talk about moving on. It is very difficult to move on after the break up. I was very lucky that i had few great friends around me most of the time cheering me up [Hello Ashish, this line is for you<\/em>]. <\/span><\/p>\n

            Everything seems illogical & we blame ourselves \u00a0for everything. All our dreams and future plannings come to an end. Thanks to social media and chat applications, all \u00a0it takes is a pesky message to breakup [I don\u2019t use Whatsapp anymore] <\/span><\/p>\n

            But of late I have realized all these things are temporary from day one. \u00a0I was the stupid person who was building future castles and fairy tales . \u00a0A relationship involves two human \u00a0beings \u00a0& it is extremely difficult to predict what is going on in the mind of the other. At the same time probability is that the situation might change, all of a sudden you might become \u00a0jobless or the other person \u00a0will tell you about career change or moving out of city\/country for higher studies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            So what should we do?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

            The only suggestion I give to everyone is to live in the present moment and make the best of it. \u00a0If we start living our present moment to best without wasting \u00a0time reminiscing about the past we will be happier.<\/span><\/p>\n

            I would say this probably because I started reading more about the subject. Some philosophy by <\/span>J Krishnamurti<\/span><\/a> and other authors like <\/span>James Altucher<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Kamal Ravikant<\/span><\/a>\u00a0have touched a cord.\u00a0Currently, I am reading <\/span>The Last Lecture<\/span><\/a> and would highly recommend it to each one of us going through either of the stages mentioned above. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
