I am someone who tries to keep himself away from sugar, but does it always work? I would say NO, the evil side of mind or monkey mind as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/naval\">Naval<\/a> says, gets its fair share.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2843\" src=\"http:\/\/atuljha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/path4222.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atuljha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/path4222.png 600w, https:\/\/atuljha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/path4222-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/atuljha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/path4222-260x131.png 260w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Isn\u2019t it amazing that even after knowing the side effect of overstuffing with sugar I ended up eating it?<\/p>\n<p>Am I being tricked only in the above scenario?<\/p>\n<p><em>Nope, there are many other examples.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At the middle of the night I would go to Meghana Foods too sometimes. I am well aware that their food is substandard and I end up getting boils all over my face.<\/p>\n<p>I have deleted Twitter app but somehow I still access it via the web browser. I have been only been partially successful at it.<\/p>\n<p>Another stupid thing this monkey mind does is: adds as much pessimism as it could and watch you suffer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your idea sucks &amp; you are doomed to fail.<\/li>\n<li>You don\u2019t belong here.<\/li>\n<li>Spotlight effect Et all.<\/li>\n<li>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/li>\n<li>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>What is the cure?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. Being more aware and watching monkey mind.<br \/>\n2. Being more hopeful and optimistic.<br \/>\n3. Rewarding myself everytime I win.<\/p>\n<p>Am I the only one finding himself in such scenarios?<br \/>\nIs monkey mind going to win?<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is your remedy?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Its 12 am and I just returned from Corner House after having Death By Chocolate.
