2. You have all it takes to get into companies beyond TCS\/Infosys\/Wipro or other c<\/em><\/p>\n

shops<\/span><\/span> from India without caring for campus placement.<\/em><\/p>\n

Now if we do a small calculation assuming every engineering college will have 60 seats for IT & another 60 for Computer Science. Every year we produce 120*5672=\u00a06,80640 engineering graduates with degrees in IT & Computer Science.<\/p>\n

Let’s do some more calculation:<\/p>\n

Scenario 1<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Who are the mass recruiters from Campus Freshers?<\/p>\n

Infosys,\u00a0TCS,\u00a0Wipro Others..<\/p>\n

2. What are their selection criteria?<\/p>\n

60% through out<\/span><\/span> 10\/12\/Engineering [Ask honestly, how many IT\/Comp Sc engineer has it]<\/p>\n

Appear in the Aptitude test<\/p>\n

Appear in a written test<\/p>\n

Appear in a face to face interview<\/p>\n

3. Do these companies care about your majors while hiring?<\/p>\n

Mostly NO<\/p>\n

4. What does that mean?<\/p>\n

Even mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronic Comm engineer can apply for these college placements.<\/p>\n

Adding more numbers assuming only 25% of these departments are interested in joining these IT company so the number becomes (15+15+15+15) * 5672 =\u00a0340320<\/p>\n

5. So the total pool of Freshers for chop shop becomes<\/p>\n

3,40320+\u00a06,80640 =\u00a010,20960<\/p>\n

WTF these many engineers are waiting for campus recruitment.<\/p>\n

6. Let me be more genuine<\/p>\n

Assuming half of these students are not qualified for one or the other reasons, still will the Indian MNC by any means going to hire 500,000 Freshers?<\/p>\n
