Last few years, I have spent some time reading about body and health. In due course, I have tried numerous diets. I was able to lose weight. I have realized that our health depends on what we eat, and it is not about calories in or out. Our quality of food distinguishes our life.
I remember laughing at Vinay (my friend) when he would say I have come to meet, not eat at any of our meetings at restaurants. At max, he would have some green tea.
After recovering from COVID, I spent some time reading about vegetable oil and the inflammation it has been causing me for over a decade. I would get boils over my face hours after eating out. I have started making a note entry these days, where I eat, what I eat, and If I got boils.
Some of my friends know the limited options I have now when I join them for food. Some others call out my crazy experiment and tell me I am missing out on so many great things life has to offer.
On the contrary business, meetings have gotten limited to drinking green tea.
I have started making a joke saying food is just fuel, and my taste buds have died. I want to live a healthy life and be okay with living and eating this way.
