We are not chameleons. We don’t change ourselves overnight. Our past experiences, learnings, and company don’t vanish overnight. It requires decades of hard work and dedication to rewire ourselves. The problem with most of us is that we all want to be better. We like to change ourselves, but we want it to happen quickly. As a result, we get frustrated, become lazy, and give up too soon.
We have to change for ourselves first. We change because we want to be a better version of ourselves. We cannot change for others. We cannot become someone else overnight.
Lastly, we cannot keep an external incentive. We are not monkeys to dance to others’ tunes or wedding night horse dancing for money.
We are humans. We live in our thoughts. We are delicate.
