India’s future growth depends on creating impactful software product companies. The ones which can go head-on with the companies from the US and China, be it in cutting-edge research in the areas of environmental research or space tech or software products.

India will soon become the most populous country. It also means we can be our big consumers. We export and pay extra in Technology imports from the west and China.

As China is a global manufacturing hub, we have become a service hub. Most public limited companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys play on USD/INR arbitrage in generating revenue. In the short term, it has created lots of jobs and prosperity. How long will it continue? Unless the west finds another cheap support hub? Costa Rica and some African nations are already entering the space and cutting us on price.

India’s innovation depends on the shoulder. We should start innovating and stop complaining about what we don’t have.
